Alkali Roosters and Dry Creek Stiffs » Will Exhibit in Red Lodge.The ranchers of AllcaH and Dry creeks have organized two baseball clubs for the purpose of playing a game at the baseball park In this city one week from next Sunday, Aug. 31,! at 30 o'clock in the forenoon. The clubs are known as the West Side Roosters and the East Side Stiffs.The Roosters will be captained by W. H. Rnspperry and Is composed of the following ranchers; W. H. Close, George 11. Connor, Tom Price, Ridley Lumley, James Welch, Thomas Nor-thy, Torn Hunter and James Ingalls.The Stiffs will be captained by S. P. Sparr ami fa composed of the following ranchers: W. R. Mahan, Martin Johnson, Jeff Dins dale, M. J. I-en-drum, Frank Lend rum, Mark Way-man, John Hay and W. R Crockett,Each team will also be equipped with a large number of substitutes and the game promises to be both interesting and spectacular.
