Some years ago he went to Pensacola and projected and j built the Pensacola «fc Atlantic1 .Railroad thus redeeming West Florida from a wilderness to one. of the fairest portions of the state, lie is the vice president of this railroad, and his road has always pursued the most liberal policy toward the people along its line.
