Wb understand that complaints have again emanated from official quarters at Virginia City in regard to the route over which the Bozeman and Virginia mall is now being curried. We presume that the party or parties making the complaint are not aware of the lact that the direct road is impassable, on account of the bridge ovej the West Gallatin river being washed away. Mr. Galen is now running over the most direct practicable route. We take pleasure in commending Mr. Galen for the faithful performance of his contract, or as near it as circumstances will permit. Until Erskine’s bridge is repaired, the Bozeman and Virginia mall will have to be carried over the present route.
