Dr. E. C. Hogan, 55, died Friday evening in Rochester, Minn., after a two-and-one-half monthillness.His home was at 920 West Willow Street.Bom May 8, 1914, in Epworth, la., he had practiced dentistry in Cherokee since World Warn.He married Elta Dawson on June 10, 1943 in Cherokee.He was a graduate of the University of Iowa, a member of Su Paul’s Methodist Church, Speculative Lodge 307 AF and AM, and the Kiwanis Club. He was active in civic and community affairs.He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. John (Sharon) Loffling, of Ann Arbor, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Dr. V. V. Schuldt officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Boothby Funeral Home. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
