All women are invited to a Courtesy Coffee to be held in the Lobby of the Hot Springs National Bank, Satur day, Aug. 23 from 9:30 a. m to 11:30 a. m. It is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce Ladies Committee. The coffee is a hospitality affair for the chamber and all women are invited to at tend and help newcomers get acquainted. Gun Accidentally Fires, Youth Wounded Curtis Ferguson, 14, received a flesh wound on the knee when a 22 calibre pistol ac cidentally discharged at the Needmore Ranch about five miles north of the city, Sun day night, Aug. 10. Tommy Stevens, 18, was holding the gun when it dis charged. The bullet struck a rock and ricocheted off a rock and struck the youth along the knee. The youth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ferguson. The youth was treated by a local physician and returned to his home. VISIT PARENTS Miss Yvette Meddles, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Meddles and son, Steven of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Med dies of Silver City have been visiting in the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Meddles. Following her visit here, Miss Meddles went to Hof, Germany where she will teach.
