His daughter, Mrs. Mark Hansen, says that at the time of the tornado, Mrs. Peshak with a twin under each arm, came down stairs to the shop. In the midst of the fury of the storm Mr. Peshak kept on shaving.On Main Street Jo Sladovonik manufactured coffins.Milliners occupied an important position in pioneer society. This need was satisfied in the millinery stores of Mrs. John Mc-j Murtie and the Donahues.In 1889 Alfred Rossiter was making butter tubs.
