EIGHT DALE MEN ARE EXAMINED FOR ARMYThose men who were forwarded to the Army Examining and Induction Board at Evansville today (Friday) are as follows*: William Clarence Painter, James Franklin Cooper, Raymond John Haug, Jerome Mathias Hufnagel, Paul Henry Hemmer, Renus Francis Meyer, Lester Earl Potter, Aria Carter Bruce.Those who fail to pass the final examination will be returned home. Those who pass the physical test will be immediately given the oath required of a soldier, however they will be permitted to return home for fourteen days before they are to report at Ft. Benjamin Harrison or some other designated place.
