The drawing for positions of names of candidates on the official ballots in the coming primaries was held in the office of the county commission ers, Monday, August 19. This action is required by law. Prior to 1923 names of candidates were printed in alphabetical order. This was considered unfair and as a result the election law was changed and drawings by lot now determine the position on the ballot.
