The Boy Scouts pitched their summer camp at Cedarwood on Monday, August 11th The par ty this Year is composed of twenty boys, Kenneth Lacy went out the first week In charge of the boys, while Vernon Stable ford did the honors of chief cook The boys all seem to be having a good time this year, as there has been no military work and outside of the few necominary strict camp regulations, their time has been [their own to have no good a time ‘as they pleased. The cooking, as all the boys will testify, has been excellent, considering the fact that it has all been done on a three-burner oil stove, and that it has been done with the provisions taken out at the start. No one has ad| ‘cted to the larder by sending out extra home-baked goods as was, usually the case in former scout camps. The first day was spent in ganizing the camp and getting it in running order.
