The funeral of Gertrude .McFarland daughter of Mr. and M rs_ C. I. Me-the home on aftreuoouv in-Far' lt;nd, was held from Fifth street yesterday stead of from the churth as announ-, ced, owing to the illness of her mother, who was unable to leave the house. Rev. J. F. Kelley, of thf U. B, church, had charge of the funeral,1 rssisted by Rev. Peters, of the Eleventh Street M. E. church, both of whom made appropriate addresses Deceased was aged 11 years, 9 month and 20 days and Is survived by her parents, one slater, Lucy, and one brother, Chester, and a large number of sorrowing .friends, who ex-, presse their sympathy for the be*for the debated Coral of-frisb to extendreaved family and lov ceased in many appre ferings.
