yiSS NEEL ENTERTAINS.J •JIn Honor of Her Guest Miss MyrtleMerritt of Marianna.' • fThe social event oft (the season was [the conversation party given by Miss Clara Neel at the elegeroat home of i her father on Park Front Thursday evening in honor of her guest Miss Myrtle Merritt, of Marianna, Fla. The guests were received in the large reception hall by Miss Neel and her guest. In the parlor bo the right of die entrance Mrs. R. R. Evans presided in her gracious manner over die punch bowl.Both this room and the reception hall were tastily decorated with mag-nificient bunches of cut flowers and vines. Chairs and benches were scat Jeried along the wide veranda, making delightful places for the many couples in attendance.The evening was. spent in eonver-| saltan, every boy being allowed five minutes with the girl with whomihe had previously made a date, thirteen in» all being spent before delicious refreshments were served by Misses Carmen and Rose Evans.Those present were: Misses Claire Daniels, Helen Bruce, Katherine Peacock, of Dublin, Maud Hilton, of Sa-%vainnah, Marion Speneej, Bessie Craigmiles, Goodwyn1 and Clifford Mitchell, Tempo Cassady, Mable Pittman, Frances Chambers, Minnie j Smith, of Monticello, Myrtle Merritt, j of Marianna, Martha Mallette, Reeves, of Barnesvilile, and Clara Neel, Mr. and Mrs. M.
