MIDWAY.Jonas Crouse met with a painful accident last Friday. A young horse which he wa trying to break, jumped against a heavy pole knocking it onto hi' foot, badly bruising the foot and tearing the nail from one toe.Mr-. Jonas Crouse ha- returned from a visit with her sister in Macoupin county. She reports a heavy corn crop in that locality.Willard McKain. of Winchester, and Mrs. Spencer, of Scottville, are in at tendance on their brother, Robert Me Kain, who is suffering with a tumor ou the side of his neck.Thomas Irlam is moving his house onto the land he recently bought of Samuel Henry.The Henry graveyard has been beautified bv being cleaned up.Aug. 26.
