Fire.—A barn in Back street, (North End.) owned by Joel Metcalf and occupied by Nathan C. Jenks, was discovered to be on fire about half-past 11 o’clock last night. The building, with 4 horses, a number of hogs, several sleighs and a considerable quantity of hay, were consumed. A barn occupied by Cleveland Brothers, and another owned and occupied by Joel Mctcalt, each containing hay, Ac., were also consumed.—Prot. Pott.
