Shortly after the children began to assemble at the school-roofs, and at hallf past one, marched two abreast from thence 0 the wharf of Messrs. Cox Co. (headed “by their Superintendent, Teachers, and Clergy* man), where there were several boats waiting to receive them, gaily decorated in flags of different colors. As soon as the children were all seated the boats moved on in regu lar order, ‘preceded by the Clergyman’s Yacht, towards Lighthouse Island, where they soon arrived.
