MILLER, Aug. 20 — Three com bines made short work of com bini for John Ruff this week. John had about 500 acres of wheat and oats ready for combining and because of the threatening weath er, he decided to finish the job in a hurry. He hired one custom combine and two trucks and with his own truck and two combines, about 45 feet could be covered at one round. The process kept one truck busy all the time following the combines. Mrs. Ruff cooked for the men and did all the weighing at the scales.
