David Arie Ramp, a former Laurel resident, died at his home in Hardin Aug-. 14 of a heart attack. He was bom Sept. 20, 1872, the son of Jacob and Lucretia Kamp.When he was a young man he came to Montana where he owned and operated a farm near Bozeman until 181)9 when he came to Laurel and bought a farm three miles east of Laurel.In 1909 he moved to Iiig Horn county near Hardin where he fanned for a number of years. While a resident of that county he served as county commissioner for more than six years.He was married at Billings in 1889 to Mrs. Jennie Fly of Bozeman. The three children born to them have all died, Edith at age 7, Edna her twin sister, at age 17, and Arie B. at age 45 years.Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Baptist church a^ Hardin with Rev. Bently of Crow Agency, a close personal friend of Mr. Kamp, conducting the services. Burial was in the Laurel cemetery.Beside the widow living at Hardin, he is survived by four grandchildren. Kenneth, Donald, Lee and Mary Lou Kani£ of Harrison, Ida.; five stepchildren, Robert Fly of Big Horn, William Fly of Billings, Earl Fly of St. Maries, Ida., Lee Fly of Fly Inn and Mrs. Ahua Kifer of Hardin. There are 17 step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Walker of Huntley, and Mrs. Rhoda Fly of Billings.Among relatives attending the services from distant points were Mr. and Mrs. Davis Fly of Fort Feck, Mrs. Louise Kamp and daughter Mary Lou of Harrison, Ida., and Earl Fly of St. Maries, Ida.aaar.bbaaciat«c tIfblt;trhiTtctegiscfini
