RESIDENT OF MTV61 YEARSMrs. J. W. Johntoii: ^ed in her home In Moville Friday following a short illness.Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. M. Zike in the U. B. church Sunday afternoon. Burial was made in the Lawton cemetery. The pallbearers, were F. W. Johnson, Ralph Hunting and J. C. Larkin, of Moville, and Peter Sorensen, Ira Abbott and Fred Speakman, of Lawton.Sarah I. Ladd was born near Marshall, Mich., September 16, 1862, and died at Moville, Iowa, August 14, 1931, aged 68 years, 10 months, 29 days. In 1869 she came by ox team to Iowa with her parents, who located in Woodbury county the fallowing year and here sb* bad resided since that time. On May 4. 1881, she and John W. Johnson were united in marriage in Floyd township by the late Rev. Peter Van Norman.Surviving are the widower, a daughter, Grave V., of Moville, and four sons, Fred Vā of Verndale, Minn.; Verne W., of Lawton, Iowa; Frank E. and Arthur M., of Minneapolis, Minn. % VMrs. Johnson joined'* the United Brethren church in her girlhood and was connected with some church the most of* her adult life according to location of her home.
