H. Forbes died last Thursday evening at her home in Milford township after on illness of several months olheart trouble. Her age was 78 years, 4 months and 13 days. She was bora in Delaware county. O., but had resided in this county since 1869 and since 1873 on the farm where she died.„ Had she lived four days longer she and her husband would have lived together OS years. They were married August 18, 1861, by John R Newhouse, who died only a short time ago at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her husband and four sons: John, J. K.,Elmer and William, all residents of LaGrange county. J. OckerChristopher C Ocker died yesterday morning at the home of his sister. Miss Anna Ocker, in Chicago, aged 65 years. Mr. Ocker had been in failing health for several years. Last winter he became seriously ill and for several weeks it was thought that he could not recover, hut finally he rallied sufficiently to make the trip to Chicago with his sister, who took care of him here. Although he had Ihe best of care he continued to fail until lie died. He is survived by a con, Hugh, of Seattle, Washington, and a daughter, Ollie, of Los Angeles, Cal. The latter was with i him when he died. Also one brother, M. M. Jckcr, of Crystal Lake, Mich , one sisle-, Miss Anna Ocker, of Chicago, and one half brother, William E. Arnold died at her home at Fdrt Wayne last Thursday afternoon after a week’s illness of cerebral hemorrhage. She was born in LaGrange county. December 3, 1853 and was the oldest daughter of Jacob Garmire one of the early residents of the county.For 35 years she had been a resident of Fort Wayne. Besides five children, she is survived by four brothers and three sisters, all of whom are well-known in this county; Luther Garmire, of Imperial, Cal.; Preston Garmire, of Grand Island, Cal.; Horace Garmire, of Lyford, Texas; Robert B.
