ELECTION NOTICE, NOTICE is hereby given that at thenext General Election to be held on the 2nd Tuesday of October, to wit the 14th day of October, A. D. 1862, in the sevs era! townships of Kossuth county, Iown,there will he, end hereby is submittedthe contrabt. made between the American Emigrant Company and Kossuth County, for the sale and transfer of the Swamp LandB of said bounty a copy of which contract is hereby attached, for the |nr« pose of ratifying or rejecting said contract. And those voting in fuyor of sdid contract will have written or printed on their ballots, “For the Contract/5 and those voting against the same will have written or printed on their ballots, “Against the Contract.” The polls to be opcnod at the Usual place and conducted in the usual manner, and returns made as ddll more fully appear by the General Election notice hereafter given By order of the Bodrd of Supervisors of ICosButh County., FRANKLIN McCOY, Clerk.
