.»»IPP r i rcninii ui .•miurii,The crew cf the Buster Brown write the following:“We wish to inform you of the Third Cruise cf the Buster Brown. Capt. L. B. T^ange. first mate. Geo. Orinncll and the following had one of the most enjoyable cruises of the season. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Frizzell. Miss Lilian Cook. Miss F. Donback. Mrs. L. B. Lange and Miss 8. Walters left the East End. I* L for the Eastward. Tuesday reaching Birch (aland, where they had one of the best flsh dinner* ever produced by Capt. J. H. Brown, who Is past master on such work. After dinner. Mrs. Brown and Mr*. L. B. flange suggested a game of tennis, which was a surprise to all as the duo proved to be experts at the game.The evening was made pleasant with music furnished by the large talking machine of Capt. U B. I«ange; all with dance music. The following day a run was made to 8e-gull) Light, where the second beat fishing record of the season was made. Miss L. Cook was high line with a 12 lb. haddock. Miss F. Dun-hack 2d with a 10 lb. shark. Miss 8. Walters. 3d. with an 8 lb. cod. Mate Geo. Grinnell drew In a 15 lb. skate. It was rather hard on Mr. Grinnell. as some one remarked that Maine was no-llcense and why he should get such a large skate thev could not understand. Mr. Grinnell said they got larger skates than that In New York city, hence he was entitled to one fair fixed one In Maine. We returned to Fort Pophnm. where our party was entertained bv friends of Mr. and Mrs. Brown. The following day was spent In a trip to New Meadows Inn for dinner. Mrs. Brown and Miss Cook played hostesses. In Ibe evening Mr. Ed Frizzell, with the assistance of his wife had a surprise In store for the crew, a sheet party. To say the least It was a huge sucres*. On our retnm we all voted for a run to Casco Castle, at South Frefpott and this run was a marked achievement. One of the New York party took charge of the meal, which was all planned beforehand, thus a surprise. This Included a knlcker-I»ocker punch, which Capt. J. Brown, ■aid was colored and flavored with wild cherries. However they a re now n|| looking for the recipe of this famous punch. The ladles wandered why he refused to give up the same. Can you wonder why* Never again. fn our return to lxng Island, fire works and a card partv were In storf for the wanderers. Thus ended one of the best cruises of the Buster all voting for a renewal next season.Wishing you the success of the sea-son.The Busters.
