Wannalancet Clubhouse Opened, HAVPAHILL. Aug 18—The Wanna lancet golf club opened its new club house on the Amesbury road today with a brillant assembly of members and friends throughout the afternoon and evening. This afternoon a bogey handi cap tournament was played with a dozen entries, which was won by Alli son F. Stone, with a handicap of 20, fin ished with a score of 3 up. A woman’s approaching and putting match was won by Miss Webster, with Mrs J. C. Kimball second. Lunch was served to about 150 and the day ended with danc e and fireworks, a feature of the illu mination being a Mammoth letter ‘“W. displayed on the Miside by means of red lanterns.
