Old SettlersMeet SaturdayMore than 100 “Old Settlers” are expected to attend the annual Old Settler’s Reunion in San Saba Saturday, August 20, ■ at the Mill Pond Park Community Building.Sponsored by the American Legion Wiley B. Murray Post No. 27 there will be a free dinner with the only request being for local residents to donate some deserts suchlfes cakes or pies to round out the meal.To be an “Old Settler” you have to be a native of San Saba County and over 50 years of age or have lived in' San Saba County for 50 years.Again several plaques will be awarded to the oldest man and woman, the oldest married couple, the one having traveled the furthest distance to attend the reunion and the family having the largest, number of living children.There will be a reading of the names of those “Old Settldf^” who have died the preceding year and there will be some entertainment and games following the noon meal.
