■' .irt-Mr. Wiley Henry Turner, 80, of 841 North 18th Street, Griffin, a native of Butt* County, died Monday night, August gth, at the Griffin-Spalding Gouttty Hospital where he had been a patient for several days.Affectionately , known as “Uncle Wiley, he resided with his niece and her family, Mis. Jewel Butler. He was employed at Rnah-tem Mills for a number of yearn until his retiremeni He was a member of the Pepperton Baptist Church, the Griffin Eagles Club; aiid Warren Lodge No. 20, Odd Fellows. He was a brother of the late Mrs. Lillie Britt.Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at four o’clock frpm the Pentecostal Holiness Church on North 14th Street with the Rev. Otic Raybon and Rev. Fred Kendrick officiating. Interment was in Berea Christian Church cemetery in Hampton with Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.Survivors include a daughter,, Mrs. Mary Coady of East Point; three brothers, Luther Turner of.
