Sunday, August 6th, was a very pleasant occasion for the members and descendants of the Schell family, who were assembled at the home of Albert. Schell, one mile north of West Berna. Th attendance, 64 in number, was the largest since the custom was in augurated in the family, which that also added charm to the occasion, a many old acquaintances were renew ed after years of absence. A bountiful repast was served under an old spreading oak tree on impro vised tables, which groaned under their load of everything good to eat. present were: Mr. and Sheldon Herrick and son Sheldon, Jr. of Pittsfield, Mass.: Mrs. Burton Wi ber of Schenectady, Mr. and Mrs. Cle veland Herrick and son Roscoe, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Merry and son Has let.
