Dr. Keidel Shoots F. F. Acree’ in the Foot Firing Into Crowd. Realizing His Mistake He Then Kills Himself. HE WAS A PROMINENT DENTIST Murray, Ky., Aug. 18. (Special.)— While under the delusion that he was being maliciously annoyed by a crowd of young men who were passing his office last night, Dr. H. W. Keidel, a well known dentist fired into the crowd with a pistol, the ball taking effect in the foot of F. F. Aeree, an attorney, and then realizing his mix take Dr. Keidel turned the weapon upon himself and fired, dying al most instantly, Dr. Keidel was a native of Fred ericksburg, Texas, and came to Mur ray about 20 years ago from Padu cah and opened a dental parlor. He was successful in establishing a lu crative practice and prospered until a few years ago his health failed and he became adacted to a drug habit For the past few months he had been a nervous wreck and frequently had made complaint that he was an noyed by various people and on sev eral occasions called officers to put down imaginary disturbances. Relatives in Texay have been noti fied of the suicide and the body will be held until instructions are re ceived as to burial.
