Departed this life at her residence near St. Pauls Church, Page Co., Va., August 12, 1887, Airs. Catharine Foltz, wife of Jucl Foltz; aged 80 yeais and 20 days.Mrs. Foltz was the mother of 11 children, the grand-mother of 20 grand-cbildreu, the great-grand-mother of 2 great grand-eldIdrou.She was a devoted and consistent member of the Evangelical Lutheran church from an early period in life to the end of her days.She was a kind and indulgent mother, an excellent neighbor, one who performed her duties faithfully in all the various relations of life.On the 14th, iust., the usual funeral services were rendered in St. Paul’s c hurch, by her pastor, iu the presence of a large and sympathizing audience, and her body deposited in the family burying ground to await the resurrection.“For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”J. W. II.Sarah S. Yod»r, daughter of David Yoder, Lincoln Co., N. C., departed this life August 10, 1887, being in her 18th year.Her remains were interred at Daniel’s Church, on the day following.
