Seymour Weekly Times. SATURD SAY.. .AUG. 18, 1877 The governor of New York has par doned Frank Walworth, in prison for life for the murder of his father. But “the old man” wasn't a George Washing ton, no how. Four men were killed by the bursting of the boiler to a steam thresher near Bridgefort, Mrs. Aug. 10th. Their names were John Toole, Jas. Bunyon, Miles Abernathy and a Mr. Wells. The Times says that the Red Ribbon movement is on the wane in Vincennes. But that isn’t to be wondered at, for Vincennes never has taken kindly to any forward movement since general Harrison moved away from there. Let us have back some of the etime honored institutions of the daddies. There's more healthy reform in fifteen lashes than there is in five years servitude in the penetentiary.
