Alice Fay King, age 64, passed away in Clovis, NM, on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, following an extended illness. Alice was born March 13, 1947, in AR. She had made her home her it’ Tucumcari for a number of years before moving to Clovis, NM, due to her health. Surviving Alice are children, Betty Henson and husband, Calvin, Wanda Williams, and Scott Chaney and wife, Marcie all of Tucumcari, NM; grandchildren, Walter Henson and Steven Chaney both of Tucumcari, Jessica Williams of Amarillo, TX, and DeeAnna Henson of Canyon, TX; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Evans and husband, Tom of Tucumcari, Joyce Alvis of Plainview TX, Sheila Thorson of Lubbock, TX; brothers, David Smith and wife, Adria of Tucumcari and Carl Smith of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother. Graveside services celebrating her life will be Friday after noon beginning at 2:30 PM in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home, Tucumcari, NM, 575-461-3815.
