Dorothy’s Fall Showing! This rare treat of viewing her entire collection has been scheduled for Thursday, Fri day and Saturday, August 17, 18, and 19. Dorothy’s personal fashion advisors and models, consist ing of eight lovely young lad ies from Bowie, will be on hand to help show the very latest in back -to-school, and fall clothes for all ages. Models for the three day fashion event will be Miss Robbie Landers who is a re cent Texts Tech graduate. Miss Landers will teach this fall at Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Miss Denese Meek who will be a freshman at Bowie High School, Miss Special Board Meeting There will be a special board meeting of the Belle vue Independent School Board August 19 at 8:00 in the school cafeteria. This will be a public hear ing on the proposed budget for the coming year. Monisa Ashley a Bowie High junior, Miss Becky Moore, Bowie High sophomore, Miss Pam Hoeldtke, who will be a senior in Bowie High, Miss Gretchen Lutz attending TCU as a sophomore, Miss Susie Whitecotton, a Bowie Junior High student, and Miss Carla Shurtleff, Bowie High sopho more. Shoppers will be in for an exciting treat. Dorothy’s will have a drawing in the store Saturday. Some lucky custo mer will be refunded the total amount they spend during the three day showing, regardless of how much they spend. . $1.00 to $1,000. This will be quite a gift to someone. Refreshments will be ser ved Saturday as the Fall Show ing comes to a close. Dorothy’s likes to think that she carries clothes for those who choose to dress indepen dently as part of the privilege and joy of living in a fas cinating, complex world. And rightly so! All of Dorothy’s fashions have an individual flair about them. And regard less of what you may think, Dorothy’s is not expensive. Back-to-school is fun and excitement for all ages.
