Former Resident DiesThe funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth (Watrous) McDonald, 76, widow of Henry McDonald, was held in a Middletown funei’al home Thursday afternoon. Burial was in Pone-mah Cemetery here. She died last week Tuesday in Middlesex HospitalMrs. McDonald was born here, the daughter of Elijah and Carrie Watrous, and attended the local school. After her marriage, she continued to live with her parents in the old Watrous homestead on the River Road, now occupied by August Gorreck. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald moved tt Middletown in 1916.She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Middletown, and of the Lady Washington Chapter, 0. E. S. She leaves three children, Henry, Charles, and Carrie Pearl McDonald, all of Middletown; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one brother-in-law, Samuel McDonald of Colchester.
