FAMOUS BLOODHOUND IMPORTED BY DETECTIVE BROWNLEE VICTIM OF DISTEMPER From Friday’s Daily. Detective Brownlee’s famous blood hound died here last night. The dog, which was a very valuable one, was imported by Mr. Brownlee from the Southern States and it was the inten tion to use the animal in police work. He was very successful at the dog shows at Winnipeg and elsewhere in the west. The cause of the dog’s death was distemper which resulted from a cold contracted at the Winni peg exhibition.
