James Vaughn Dead.James Vaughn, seventy-four years of age, died at his home at Belle Union, Monday* night from the effects of 'a clot of blood formed on the brain. jThe funeral was held at one o'clock Tuesday at Providence, services by Reuben Masten. Mr. Vaughn was one of .the early settlers of southeast Putnam and was honored among hts neighbors for Ms sterling worth and ‘upright life.
