Each subscriber to the street sprinkling fund is a member of the association. The officers are Charles C. Eosminger, president: CassiuB Kennedy, vice-president; C. E. Plummer, secretary, and S. B. Morris, treasurer. The officers with the following named gentlemen compose the board of directors: Chris. AbeJe, Jacob Deitzer and Charles Sindiinger. The president, vice-president and secretary are the board of administration and will have charge of all matters that are not weighty enough to be brought before the board of directors- The officers receive no pay and the association will hire a collector whose business it will be to collect all subscriptions every week. The w »rk of sprinkling wiU be let to the lowest responsible bidder, the board reserving the right to reject all bids. The assessment will be collected one wee« in advance. Should there be a surplus at any time it will be used to sprinkle the district during the a indy days late in the fall: it will be refunded or a weekly collection will be omitted.The association expects to have a Bprinkler at work by next Monday. Not enogh money has been subscribed, but there will be. So ends the first chapter in the street sprinkling controversy.
