Some Elegant Costumes. At one of the semi-weekly sops at Narra gansett recently Mrs. H. T. Chittenden, of Columbus, Ohio, was the most perfectly gowned women on the floor, according to an exchange. She was attired to a rose pink and arsenic green striped silk, huge pouf sleeves to the elbow, which were met with arsenic green mosquitane gloves; long ends of satin ribbons in these cols hung from the waist line to the bottom of the skirt in front, and a dream of a headgear of English violets and white lace completed this beau tiful costume. Mrs. F. K. Ralston, of Philadelphia, a black satin gown, decollette, the square neck being bordered with white point lace forming epaneta over the seeves, which were bugs poutts of black satin reaching to the elbow, a White satin stomacher, girdle and black un dressed moquiaire gloves. Mrs. Colonel Wheaton, black satin with cream lace over pink satin pointed fiebu. Miss Kunkle, of Baltimore, white dotted Swiss, trimmed with black French lace, cut decolieite; the sleeves three ruffles edged with lace extending from shoulder to elbow, where they were met with black undressed kid gloves, long ends of black and white plaid silk ribbon finished this pretty gown. Baltimore Players at Cape May. The dramatic performance of “Who's to Win Her” at Congress Hall, Cape May, Wednesday night was so well received by the large audience in attendance that it was re peated Thursday night. In the early part of the evening there was a lawn fete, fol lowed by the performance. The stage was on the lawn and quite near the centre, and at such an angle as to permit all the specta tors who sat on the broad L-shaped piazana an equal opportunity to view. The mem bers of the theatrical company cabens pers are summering there, and include Miss Har riette Weems, of Baltimore; Miss Virginia Stewart, Miss Bessie Rogow, Miss C. Lever son, Miss Birdie Hess Hernandez, Miss Blanche Hood, Miss Elsie Lower, John Doud of Baltimore, C. Clare Roae, C. Wisin Hug hel and ©. Garvin Gilmaine.
