Happenings...^ Dairy Science Group Visits KarastanA group of 60 wives of members of the American Dairy Science Association recently visited the Karastan Rug Mill and the Fieldcrest Store at Eden.The trip was part of the ladies’ program during the 71st annual meeting of the group held at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.The American Dairy Science Association is a worldwide, professional organization of educators, scientists and industrialists who are concerned with the welfare of the dairy industry.Attending the meeting in Raleigh were members and their families from all across the United States, Canada andMembers of the ADSA group visit the Karastan Guide for the group was John W.
