DOGS ATTACK BALTIMORECOUNTY CHILDRENTwo children living in the Eastern section of Baltimore county were bitten by ferocious dogs last week. One! of the children was bitten as he rode a bicycle down the street, the other as she was walking witjj her aunt.Frank Thompson, 12, of George avenue near Oak Street, Essex, was riding his bike past the home of Mrs. Marie Hessanaeur on Maple Avenue when her collie dog ran after him and bit his leg.The boy’s mother summoned police. In company with Mrs. Hessanaeur they journeyed to the office of Dr. White, who treated the boy’s wound. The dog’s owner paid the bill, and was ordered to keep her dog tied in the future.Helen McDonough, 5, of Bridge avenue, near Rosedale avenue, Chesa-co Park, was walking to the store with her aunt, when a large police dog owned by a Mr. Young, a neigh- I bor, rushed out and attacked her, severely on the lower lip. |Police, summoned to the home by the child’s grandmother, took her to City hospitals, where the wound was dressed and intitetanus serum was administered.Witnesses told police that the dog’s owner watched the efforts of the j child’s aunt to drive off the attacking animal.Police advised the child’s parents to swear out a warrent for his owner on charges of allowing a vicious animal to remain at large. ;
