Dora Rodriquez is Wonderful Recruit er for Uncle Sam's Army.One winsome American girl lias already added 1200 recruits to Uncle Sam's army. Before long she expect* to have raised enough more volunteers to make up a full regiment at war strength.This enthusiastic worker for I’ncle Sain, whose achievements have attracted the attention of the war department, is Dora Rodriquez. She is a Universal Film girl and after war broke out she conceived the idea of walking across the entire continent from New York City to Universal Uity, California, raising recruits all the way.She received the hearty co operation of the Universal Him Co. The war department of the government issued special permission for her to wear the field uniform of the United States infantry. So denning the soldier garb, Dora set out amid a big demonstration in New York City.All along the route the fair march-er has belt;*n received with enthusiasm. Pittsburgh could not do her too much honor; her home city, Cincinnati, Mitdid itself in its enthusiastic reception. From there she pushed on to Chicago and was a big figure at the Motion Picture Convention. Kvery-where she added new recruits to the cause, her exhortations and example tirring many young men to enlist under the American flag.She is going now from Chicago to Universal City, nothing daunted by ■he terrific task still before her.
