KILLS TWO IN FIGHT, •-About the Rent of u House in Whichthe KiLIfr Lived.Dr. Clarence Pickens, a dentist, of Weaverville, N. C., killed Rome and Furman Capps, brothers, aged 25 and 30, also of Weaverville, at his Ume. Pickens, who claims he shot in self-defense surrendered lo a deputy sheriff and is now in jail. The shooting followed a quarrel concerning the rent of a house owned by the Capps, in which the denrist lived.There were no eye-witnesses to fhe tradegy. The brothers fell in tkei ■ tracks and the only knives found were found closed in each of the dead men's pockets. The doctor's wounds are two light cuts over his heart and one on his left arm. His coat was literally cut to ribbor.«.
