MARITIME NEWS,Record of Wrecks.—The number of wrecks reported for the present year, to date of August 9, amounted to 1,000.The Pericles (Largie), from London for Sydney, docked for repairs at Plymouth on August 7.The Euterpe, bound from London for Canterbury (N.Z.), was in collisionefl Gravesend on August 2 with, the Telford, s.s., from Colombo. TheEuterpe received considerable damage, and returned to dock. The steamer had her bow damaged.
