Jonas T. SondeFuneral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Methodist Church in Buffalo* Center for Jonas T. Sunde, 67. Mr. Sunde died Monday evening at the Buffalo Center hospital following a lingering illness.Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Winter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Survivors include his wife, Isalene (McCrady) Sunde; three sons, Donald Sunde of Phoenix, Ariz.; Eldon Sunde of Kiester, Minn.; and Dean -Sunde of Buffalo Center; five grandchildren; three sisters:. Mrs. George (Hannah) Ogland and Mrs. Clifford (Christine) Anderson, both of Williams; and Mrs. Josie Hover-stein of Bode.Mr. Sunde, son of Jonas and Taletta Sunde, was born in Stavanger, Norway and came to Le Grand with his parents and later to the West Prairie neighborhood. The old Sunde place is now occupied by the Stanley Stovers, After his marriage April 29, 1921 he farmed in the Buffalo Center-Thompson area until He retired in 1962 after suffering a heart attack.
