Petition Filed in District Court on Habeas Corpus Proceeding Ignatz Besler has filed a petition with the clerk of a district court ask ing that Sheriff F. J. Kennedy be ordered to release him from re straint. The restraint is alleged to be un der a $500 peace bond ordered by Justice of the Peace J. T. Tait, fol lowing charges of threatening an assault. The writ is under an action of habeas corpus and the petition al leges that testimony of complaining witnesses was to the effect that the accused was not a dangerous man, but indiscreet. Besler, on those grounds, asks that his liberty be restored.
