OBITUARY.DIED.—At her horns in Cedax City, August 19, 1907, Mary H. Olnay, aged 60 yesra, 5 months and 26 day a.Mary H. Jonea was born in Stock-bridge, Vt. February 4, 1847. At the age of nine years she with her parents moved to Gook county. III.From a family of 12 children she, with her brothers, Willard S. Jon.ea now living in Union townBbip, and Clarence A. Jones, deceased, were the only ones left f«r the parents to bring to their new home in Uniontownship, Black Hawk county, la,, in October J868,November 23, 1870 she was united in marriage with L. S. Olney of Union township. With the exception of one year in Butler county their married life has been spent in the vicinity of Cedar t rills*“The union was bJessed with fourchildren. Meylin T., Burton L,, and Clifford R., all ot Cedar Falls, and Effie P., who died January 29, 1894,at the age of 14.In tha spring of 1870 she united with the Christian church then being organized at Finch ford, Iowa, which membership was later transferred to the Christian church at Cedar halls.Having been in poor health for many years her life was necessarily a quiet one, mingling very little in society or among her neighbors. Since laafc March she has been's constant sufferer from a complication ofdiseases all of which were borne with remarked patience and fortitude.Always a devoted wife and loving mother her presence will be sadly missed in the home and the family has the sympathy of many friend*.
