- - OUJlof weather, truly !The Alleged Murder at Df.ptford.— Vesterday evening, at six o'clock, Mr. Carter, the coroner, and the jury re-assembled at the Red Cow, High-street, for the purpose of further investigating Jhe circumstances connected with the death of Mr. H illiam Rudiand, (who it was alleged had been barbarously murdered undervery mvsterious circumstances,) when Messrs. Downing, Drury, Mitchell, and WegK, surgeons, having performed the post-mortem examination on the body, stated they were perfectly satisfied that the deceased had expired in a tit of apoplexy, and not by any violent means. The blood which was discovered on the floor had proceeded from his mouth and nostril?. The jury appeared perfectly satisfied that the deceased had not come by his death unfairly, and, after being addressed by the coroner, returned a verdict “That the deceased died by the visitation of God, while labouring under an apoplectic fit.” Mrs. Bud land appears to be totally ignorant of her husband’s death} as, when any questions are put to her, she replies in a faint time “ Go to Mr. Rudiand.” Mot the slightest hopes are at present entertained of berre-coverv. The deceased was universally respected by w t ° k°e'v him.
