Sue Ann Karrasch, bride-elect of Pvt. Steve Platko, was honored at a miscellaneous shower given by Kay Thayer and Fay Holliday at the latter’s home on Interstate Plvy. last night, Games were played and a bride’s scrapbook was made. Prizes were awarded to Anita Lore, Sally Stein hauser, Joyce Steinhauser, Sally Matthews, Mary Ann Kloss and Bernice Barber. The bride-elect was presented with gifts. A buffet luncheon was served. Present were Mrs. Dale Newton, Mrs. Alan Winner, Mrs. Milo Bar ber, Mrs. Walter Bassler, Mrs. George Thayer and the Misses An ita Love, Martha Wiley, Sally Stein hauser, Sally Matthews, Sue Pe honsky, Joyce Steinhauser, Mary Hvizdzak, Pauline Platko, Virginia Lipp, Mary Ann Kloss, Mary Kem ick, Margaret Bennett and Janet Holliday. The wedding will take place’ Saturday, Aug. 23, at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, Lewis Run.
