His death on May 3, 1930 not only brought this happy re lationship to an end but administered a shock from which she never fully recovered. She constantly grieved over his departure. One year following her marriage to Mr. Youngs, having professed con version, she was baptised into the fellowship of the First Baptist Church of Princeton, September 9, 1911. During the twenty years she was a member of this church she was constant in attendance at its services interested in its welfare, loyal to its faith and practices, and faithful in is support. Whenever possible she badly rendered service in its behalf. These sterling qualities were never abandoned. They were examplified to the very last. Although in failing health — for some time, the last few months of her life were marked with the appearance of more grave symptoms. But in spite of depressing physical ailments she Love her lot uncomplainingly in a spirit of true Christian steadi ness and courage. Two immediate relatives proceed ed her in death: one brother having died in infancy, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Levina Vane, who died in the year 1917. Six brothers and one sis ter survive her: Mrs. Wm. S. Mercer, Princeton; Mr. Abraham L. Piper, Ohio; Mr. June H. Piper, Mr. Wm. I. Piper, Mr. Ansel D. Piper of Princeton; Mr. Albert Piper of Crookston, Minn., and Mr. Harding H. Piper of Van Orin, 11. Two children, Mrs. Bert Kimberley of Princeton and Russel Young of Denver, Colo., and six grandchildren, John Margaret Thomas Burtram Kimberley Jr. Marjorie, Russell Jr., and io Victoria Young, mourn her departure as well as a host of other friends and acquaintance Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church, Princeton, Ht., Monday afternoon, Rev. R. Shepley, officiating. Miss Minerva Ann Place rendered appropriate vocal music. In terment took place at Oakland ceme tery. The Geneva Laven ders may be the team to offer opposi tion to the Tigers this year should Benson decide to sponsor a team again.
