Burial followed in the Plainfield cemetery, eight miles distant from Bancroft.Mr. Mel nice was a well-known business man of Bancroft, formerly chairman of the town board* and a member of the Masons and of the Woodman Lodge. He was well-known in Slovens Point and in this city. Airs. Mel nice, having been a resident of Wisconsin Kapids, before her marriage, and the family has i often visited in tins city.Mv.
