SARAH ANDREWSMrs. Sarah Andrews, one of the oldest residents of the county, died at her home six miles northwest of town, Sunday morning at 11:55 o’clock, aged nearly 94years. Her death was caused from pneumonia with complications incident to oldage. Funeral services were held r.t the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. H. C. Mullen, pastor of the Ebenezer church. Interment was made in Oak wood cemetery, Macomb.Deceased was born in Middlezay, England, where she grew to womanhood. In the year 1846she was united in marriage to Thomas Andrews who passed away about two years ago. Their married life, extending over a period of about 73 years was one of peace and happiness. They left England in the year 1847 and came to this country, settling first in Ohio where they lived about eight months, coming from there to Doddsville. From Dodds-ville they moved to the farm six miles northwest of town, which has since been their home. Mr. and Mrs. Andrews were the parents of eleven children, seven of whom survive. They are: Mrs. Eliza Cobb and Charles Andrews of Industry; William and George Andrews and Mrs. Annie Stephens of Macomb; Frank of Wyaconda, Mo., and Mrs. Ellen Venard, who resides on the Andrews homestead. Besides these sons and daughters she is survived by 19 grandchildren. 11 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grand-children.
