'JThe teachers are so much interested 1 in the methods and the ways of pie-! renting them, that we are led to give close attention to Prof. Kirk’s recitations and lectures, which are so instructive. We feel that it would be a great loss to miss any recitation or lec- F ture.Prof. Alexander, Mrs. Alexander,and Prof. A. H. Rainey are so thorough in their work that they are enabled to make every recitation interesting and entertaining, and they make the subjects so clear that we are led to believe that this is a second Quincy, Mass., in teachers’ work.Mrs. Alexander is also quite an artist. and she is teaching us the elements of free hand drawing.Prof. A. II. Rainey has added a new feature to our zoological department.He has been collecting animals, birds, and entomological specimens all summer, so that he is enabled to teach more thanthe text books give^and we are all sorry that we cannot have longer recitations.
