The Cholera—Official Report 6f Deathb Registered Yesterday. The following is the list of the deaths by cholera, in this city, reported by physicians and undertakers to the office of the Board of Health, daring the twenty-four hours ending 6 P. M. of yesterday. Name, nativity, age, occupation, residence,* and date of death are given, as recorded on the death register. This makes complete our list of all deaths up to last night’s reports. In all our reports of deaths, we have been particularly careful to give nothing but the facts gleaned from the official records, and to l«%ve no chance for a misunderstanding on the part of the reader, who can not fail to understand that the report for every twenty-four hours, ending 6 P. M., is of deaths reported for burial permits, and not pf deaths that actually occurred during those twenty-four hours. No names of victims are ever duplicated in these reports. There is given, once only, the name and general description of every fatal case of cholera, officially reported. We are particularly careful to give the date of every death, ^o that no false impression as to the number of deaths in any one day may be obtained. The report is official:Office Board of Health, August IB—6 P.
