Burn on Knee Dr. Harwood said the girl had a burn on the right knee, which indicates she came in contact with the power line. Police said the girl climbed high up in the tree and then apparent ly panicked. Her girl friend, police said, climbed down and ran into the house and summoned Frederick Shands, the victim's father. According to police, Mr. Shands said the girl slipped and fell through the trees. Caught By Father He told police he caught his daughter and began to give mouth to mouth respiration when he found that she was un conscious. _ Whether the girl touched the wire before she fell or during her fail is still a mystery, Dr. ‘Harwood said the ‘Investi gation ‘of the Incident would con tinue in hopes of clearing up this point. The girl was taken to River ‘View ‘Hospital by the Fairview First Aid Squad where she was a anounced dead on arrival, Seventh Grader Born in Princeton, she had lived here eight months. She was a seventh grade stu dent at the Thompson School, Lincroft, and was a member of the Red Bank Presbyterian Church. Besides her parents, she is sur vived by two brothers, Frederick D. and Thomas L. Shands, both at home;. maternal grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Sanderson of Wildwood, and paternal grand mother, Mrs. Ida Shands of St. Lours, Mo. The funeral will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Worden Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Charles S. Webster, pastor of the Red Bank Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be In Fall View Ceme tery.
